Yo Hershey Family!!!!

Happy Turkey day! Enjoy your family and being together on your island.
Very happy to hear you have had a dry, colorful and pleasant Fall.
We are beginning to think "normal" anything does not exist. Is that because God likes to "wake us up" with His surprises. This works for me!
We had fog today in our valley - it was really amazing. There was snow on the Tahachipi mountains to the north and a lake appeared made by the flow of the ground fog. A very unusual sight in the high desert for sure.
Have fun making more special memories with each other. I certainly can picture Jesus playing and laughing in the autumn leaves with you all.
Enjoy,

Terry, thank you for this lovely (and timely!) article, with its reminder to notice and be with that which "saves us" this day.

I found your post in my email box, having just finished hosting my twice-monthly "Virtual Changes" group which affords those of us who gather an opportunity for such a "safe harbor" in which to pause, listen and be heard.

Terry..these written words drive directly to the heart of self. Not in terms of selfishness but in the context that an individual is responsible for creating his/her own reality based on actions or reactions to the world around them.

I googled Anhedonia and found this, thinking it might be an answer to my desperate searching. Instead it's an article about travel, vacation and maybe pleasure. But you guys don't even know what Anhedonia is- it's not the "inability to experience pleasure." What it is is the complete and total disappearance of ANY POSITIVE EMOTION WHATSOEVER accompanied by a feeling of permanent emptiness, unconsciousness, and a smothering state of feeling halfway dead. So if you are going to write something and call it "Anhedonia" please make it about that.
