Yes friends, in addition to writing my weekly article, Sabbath Moment, I’m now blogging.
Do Less, Live More is my (almost) daily blog about paying attention. To life.
THIS LIFE.
With all of its beauty, challenge, splendor, chaos, complexity and grace.
I will blog because it slows me down. Each day.
I will blog because it helps me stay present. And real.
I will blog because we all need reminders to just be.
There are not “five easy steps” to paying attention. But we all have moments when we are knee-deep into the sounds, sights, smells, textures and tastes of the day. I blog about these moments–sacred moments–whether it be gardening, nature, beauty, chaos, sanctuary, family, conflict, relationships, spirituality, faith, doubt or how we can try to live more simply. Whatever the subject, you can expect some cool quotes and poetry that tugs at your heart, irreverent jokes, song lyrics, photos, videos, and. . .well, whatever I see, hear, read, feel, taste or touch each day that inspires me.
In addition, you may find the occasional unabashed reference to my love for good French wine; the University of Michigan (go maize and blue!); how my garden grows (with updated photos); the need for unrepentant napping, and the direct correlation between pausing and joy. (You know, that feeling which expands your chest, and slows the world’s carousel so that everything and everyone around you is in crystal-clear focus, and your mind has no need for approval or scheming or regret. You are content merely to be. Just be.)
So, welcome, friends! Please subscribe (click that orange “RSS” thingy), give me your feedback and comments… and enjoy the ride.
